Before the project
Introduce the book without building an unnecessary store.
Readers needed to learn about the book and its creators. Families and educators also needed a way to find the supporting resources. The website had to give those subjects room while making it clear where to buy a copy.
What I changed
Keep the story here and the checkout with retailers.
I organized pages around the book, creators, illustrator, and Wild Florida material. Resource links support families and educators, and purchase buttons lead to Amazon and IngramSpark. A contact form handles questions, events, and partnership inquiries.
What the finished site does
- A dedicated place to introduce the book and its story
- Creator pages that give readers more context about the people behind the project
- A Wild Florida section that connects the book with its setting and educational value
- Resource links for parents, educators, and community partners
- Clear paths to purchase through Amazon and IngramSpark
- A dedicated space for the illustrator and her artwork
- A contact path for questions, events, and partnership opportunities
- A responsive layout that is easy to explore on phones and larger screens

In use
Different readers have a clear next step.
A family can find a retailer, an educator can open supporting resources, and a community partner can contact the people behind the book. The site itself does not process purchases.
